What practising looks like

The Ishayas’ meditation method is an age-old pathway to experience inner serenity  , more peace, clarity and creative imagination. Despite the fact that it has ancient origins in the East, it is very well suited to the active minds, and 21st-century lives we deal with. No belief is needed to practise this technique , and it is happily and enjoyably applied throughout the planet by tens of 1000s of people of many backgrounds.

Almost all people find it a remarkably straightforward and fulfilling practice , taking 15 or 20 minutes a couple of times  every day to close their eyes and make use of the technique.

Morning and daytime benefits

By meditating in the a.m. you may find your day being far more enjoyable and effective. Difficult situations may become easier to manage , difficult individuals become less of an annoyance . Relationships become much simpler , you may well find that you have more patience with other people that you didn’t possess before. You might actually find that you get more done in a much shorter stretch of your time. You may perhaps note that you end up being gentler and more forgiving towards your own self and other people. Meditation in addition has a greater effect not just on you but also for your family and those around you. So not only do you get the positive aspects of having a more fulfilled life, being more present , these people do too.

Evening and energy

Many people meditate for a short period just before their main meal as this helps clear away any stress from the day and allows you to appreciate your dinner and your evening to the maximum. Many different studies have demonstrated that meditation can have a constructive influence on energy levels, ideal after a difficult day at your nine-to-five , or with your children.

Better sleep

Practicing the Ishayas’ meditation techniques just before bedtime helps produce a deeper and more untroubled sleep. As your body does much of its recuperation through sleep, by meditating before bedtime , you’re actually kick-starting your body’s restoration system , so that you are more likely to be revived and in position to go the following morning.

Eyes-open, anywhere

Possibly the most convenient elements of the Ishayas’ meditation practice is that you can do it with your eyes open as you engage in your daily activities – doing a job , carrying out the food shopping , driving the car, performing sporting activity , spending time with family and friends.

Eyes-open meditating helps keep you ‘in the present moment’ and more alert . You’ll be more open to experience and receive things that you may not have spotted in the past. It serves to help minimise the adverse effects of stress-filled situations and heightens your appreciation and satisfaction with your life. It gives you a higher connection to the world around you and a more productive attitude to life.
